“Staying at the cottage was extremely pleasing. The cottage was just perfect, like Goldilocks, not too big, not too small, but just right. The proximity and access to Higgins Lake was again just right. On the morning of our departure, we were already discussing our return visit. All in all, Jillian and the cottage were perfect! “We lived in this neighborhood a few years back and rented this house to visit friends. So glad this little house was available as it worked out great. It was very clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything you might need. The neighborhood is very quiet and relaxing. Side note: The beach and boat launch down the road are not pubic, they are actually private and belong to this association and can only be used by the houses in the association. This is even better, as it will be less……

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Higgins Lake. The property was very clean and comfortable. It was stocked with all the linens and paper products you would need. The kitchen had every pot and gadget you could ever use. The water pressure in the shower was so strong it was better than ours at home! We rented a pontoon boat and there was a mooring in place so we didn’t need to bring our own. There were plenty of inside and outside games/toys to keep everyone occupied. The neighborhood was……

“Such a cute cottage. Sleeps 6 an up comfortably. Beds are very comfy! Very clean, lots of great features, kayaks, fire pit, grill, dock, beach and so many fun things in the area. We enjoyed playing cards and games on the big kitchen table and hanging out by the lake.”

“Such a beautiful place to stay and just relax. Cottage was equipped with toys and activities for children. Property being fenced in was a huge plus having young children. It was properly stocked with all the necessities and essentials you could possibly need. 10/10 recommend. Will definitely be coming again! ”

“The host gave us an extremely informative PDF for the property and surrounding area. The location was great as you could walk to restaurants, bars and 1 cafe. The smores kits was a nice touch. The only thing that we struggled with was how to turn on the A/C, and one of the boat businesses is no longer in business. Otherwise, great place!”

“The cottage is in a great location, check in and parking is easy. The listing said it had a laundry (washer/dryer) it does not. The host was great and organized a pick-up and drop-off for laundry service to make up for the lack of onsite laundry, they were very professional and easy to communicate with. The kitchen is a little unorganized but has everything you need. The house was not as clean as we would have liked. Overall a great stay. ”
