“The pictures are accurate as seen on the website . However, the amenities left a lot to be desired. The six bath towels were good and the 7 washcloths were horrible as some had bleach stains on them and they were very thin. No hand towels were provided to dry your hands on in the bathroom. Nor were there paper towels in the bathroom for that purpose. The other rooms were clean but the bathroom needs a deep cleaning . No cleaning products were provided either. ”

“The house was normal. No major issues. We were told there would be a washer and dryer, but it did not have one accessible. It appeared to be in the garage, but the garage was locked and no one would respond.Our check in was 3:00 pm on Friday, at noon on Friday the company managing the property tetzy? told me that I needed to provide everyones first and last name and their cell phone. “The home was beautiful and felt very new, up-to-date and modern. The home, as well as the location, were lovely and peaceful. We were in the area for a wedding and had other family members in another VRBO. We were all able to come together (apprx 16 of us) at this home for hamburgers on the grill and to sit back, relax and enjoy marshmallows over the firepit later in the evening. ”

“My first VRBO rental and it turned out wonderfully. House was clean, perfect size, perfect location for my visit. The owner thought of many small touches that I never dreamed would be in the house, such as blow dryer, laundry products, even hairspray. It was nicely decorated for the season as well. Will rent again the next time I visit. ”

“Listed as private home , once you get there and read the house rules it states shared refrigerator with owner. Owner comes in while you are gone and turns off all lights and the Ac, even goes into your locked room to turn off ac.”

“Our stay at the 1919 Cabin was absolutely wonderful! The home is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and created such a relaxing atmosphere. “This home had everything we needed for our trip splitting time between Chicago and the Indiana Dunes National Park. The kitchen had every gadget we could have dreamed of needing, including a waffle maker. It truly felt like we were staying at a home, not an investment property with the bare minimum. But, the best part was walking in the home and smelling (and seeing!) how clean it was on arrival. ”

“This home is immaculate! It looks like everything has been recently remodeled. Everything looks brand new and very modern. Terry was very responsive and accommodating. This home is such a good deal for the size and the condition. Awesome elevated deck outside. My guests were very happy with their stay.”

“Technicolor retreat was a great relaxing getaway. The home is lovely and the location on the river was so relaxing after a day in the Dunes or Chicago. It felt very secluded and private.
