“These Villas are kind of a hidden gem in Oceanside and for the same cost, travelers could not find anything better. Great staff. By the beach. Clean. Safe. Wonderful amenities. I won`t stay anywhere else now that I know about Aquamarine Villas. ”

“The Buena Creek Refuge is indeed a beautiful refuge. We felt relaxed the moment we popped out of the cars. Nine of us spent 6 nights celebrating our 50th anniversary and visiting the area attractions. It was wonderful to have the Refuge to come home to rather than some hotel. The 2 grandkids loved the pool and climbing to the gazebo almost as much as Legoland. Great kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining areas and did I mention 5 king beds! Our host was easy to communicate with and I enjoyed all……

“Property was amazing. The shore was within a quick walking distance with lots of places to wash off afterward. Unfortunately NONE of the units have air conditioning and it’s about 80 inside during August. They will provide 2 fans buts during the day it’s hot. Unit B was beautiful inside but unfortunately the train ran and the traffic from the street was also quite noisy. We’d stay again but would be picky with which building we stay in and hope for more of an ocean breeze to keep it cool. ”

“Easy to walk to the beach and La Jolla stores and restaurants. Quiet and safe neighborhood. The house is old and could have been cleaner. The floors and dishes were dirty and the half bathroom toilet keeps flushing. Also the bedroom door with the half bathroom is jammed and can’t be fully closed.”

“Great place to stay in Del Mar! We are in Del Mar not infrequently for soccer tournaments. Not sure how we’ve never stayed here before. A bit dated, but tons of space, friendly staff, plenty of towels, directly on the beach, easy parking, walkable to all the cute shops and restaurants, and reasonably priced considering location and size of the apartment. Will absolutely book here again. ”

“The house is located in a great central spot close to all the great San Diego attractions. Check-in was easy once I received instructions. House was clean and it was well stocked, plenty of space for my family of 5. I didn’t have any issues. The weather was nice. I would definitely consider staying again, perhaps in the summer so we can take a swim in the pool since it was too cold this time.”

“酒Bar的食物非常美味，服務生也非常有熱忱。免費早餐現點現做，可以選一個主餐跟一杯飲料最後服務生會拿單子來簽名，上面已經寫好小費。小費是要另外付費的。我們三個人入住一間可住四人的雙皇后床房，但是房間裡只有兩個玻璃杯跟兩瓶免費的水，咖啡有四球但是咖啡紙杯有兩個，最後我們都沒有喝房內的咖啡在房間裡沒有室內拖鞋，這個我們訂房的時候沒發現，蠻不方便的，因為我們也沒有帶自己的。沒有可以煮水的熱水壺很不方便，如果需要水，要到大廳的飲水機裝水，第一晚我們很渴所以第二晚我們花了17多美元買了三瓶水！沒有刷牙的杯子所以我們要用喝水的水杯，第二天補了一個玻璃杯，終於我們三個人都有一個玻璃杯了！房間浴巾都很乾淨櫃檯的人員比較沒笑容地點非常方便，靠近UTC商場，公車站跟藍線輕軌也在旁邊，去ucsd 或是去聖地牙哥老城跟一些博物館都可以利用公共交通工具，非常方便！下次還會來住這兒！”

"The experience was terrible, with tons of random extra fees, including a mandatory destination fee of $30 per day. ( A nightly resort fee of $33.84 has already been charged. ) During check-out, I was just a bit confused and asked the front desk why this fee was charged since it wasn’t mentioned during check-in or listed on the Expedia invoice. The African-American woman at the front desk was incredibly impatient and had a terrible attitude, making me feel like she was ready to hit me if someone hadn’t stopped her. If you have such a bad temper, why are you working in customer service? Why not just go somewhere you can act like a boss? Her communication skills were awful; she couldn’t explain properly and just kept repeating one sentence: “I’m just an employee, I don’t know.” If you don’t know, then find out—that’s your job! Another customer checking out managed to explain it to me more clearly than she did. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The room only provided two bottles of water per day, and asking for even one extra bottle incurred a charge. The front desk staff just directed me to buy the $8 bottled water in the room. There were no slippers provided either. It’s clear this hotel is promoted heavily on Expedia through paid ads. Absolute garbage hotel."
