“There’s lots to love about this sweet cottage. We had a great stay. It is especially good for adults for walking to the beach and nearby restaurants. So many great food options! It was a little harder for our family with a child that wasn’t super psyched to walk a 1/2 to the beach and restaurants. Yes, the property is a block from the ocean, but it is not a block from a beach where you would put down a chair and walk in the sand. Thad’s more like 1/2 mile. Otherwise a great stay!”

“My stay in Michael's condo was great! We've been going to North Coast Village for over 20 years every summer and this condo was very enjoyable. Being an end unit you have plenty of natural light. The beds were cozy and the updates to the condo make it very enjoyable. I would highly recommend staying here! Can't wait to come back. ”

The beach vibe was so fun, we loved it! The only small confusion was with check in and check out. There were no instructions and we had to do trial and error with door locks and property access, etc. Would suggest a welcome manual.”

“Great location 2 blocks from the beach. Very nice place. Even has a Sparkletts water dispenser in the kitchen. Great yard with fire pit, fountains and tubular bells. Very serene. If I go to Carlsbad again alone or with my wife we’re staying here if it’s available.”

“My husband and I loved staying at this casita for a week. We stay in San Diego area frequently and we both agree that the view along the Scripps coastline from this sweet casita is the best in the area. Recently updated, the casita is clean and a private sanctuary with its gardens in the back and tree top views across the front. It’s an ideal location to explore La Jolla and within walking distance to lots of destinations. Quiet, yet just 6 blocks to trails along the cove. nearby restaurants,……

“Very nice back yard casita. Very quiet neighborhood. We didn't have any contact with the owners in the front home. The front of this casita faces the rear living room of the main home which felt somewhat awkward going to and from, but we weren't there much anyway and just used it to sleep in. Everything was as it appeared in the photos except the bed is not a pull down but standard comfortable queen size bed. Both homes and yards appear to maybe recently be redone and its easily the nicest home……

“This cottage was the perfect size for our family of 5! very close to the beach with all the necessities. Our main focus was Legoland which was 10 minute drive. Bob was a wonderful host and available as needed. Thank you again BobLinda”
