“I have read a lot of reviews on this property and I always try to steer clear of the bad reviews to let myself in on the experience so I can find out When you speak on “updating” and such, you must keep in mind the Nostalgia of this sport and what this mountain has down to maintain the East Coast Lodge vibe. “The Graham is the place to stay in the Catskills!! I stayed in the Bunkhouse and my small room had everything I needed. It was a solo trip and my room had bunk beds. That twin bed was so comfy and cozy! There were 3 bathrooms to share and the bathroom was big and sparking clean. Amazing water pressure and wonderful soap & shampoo. They texted me the morning of my arrival asking my ETA and what I’d like for my breakfasts. The one I chose had a yogurt, granola and fresh berries. And an apple cider……

“Great, convenient place to stay while spending a weekend in Hyde Park touring FDR's home and library, Vanderbilt home and Eleanor Roosevelt's home at Valkill. Room was clean and comfortable, good water pressure. Nice coffee set up. ”

“The setting for this bed and breakfast was what you think of when you think of bed and breakfast - quaint setting - rustic accommodations in a country environment. Bring your computer or a book - no TV in the room. The only "complaint" is that breakfast was sparse. We thought she said, "yogurt, fruit, and granola" but when we looked in the around the common kitchen/frig we didn't see any granola. There were 2 containers of yogurt and a small bowl of blueberries. We weren't sure the other stuff……

“I had a very nice stay at the Phoenicia Lodge. I needed a nice quiet place to relax prior to my first "hard" hike. The best part of my stay was the genuine friendliness of the owner. She was like someone you have known forever and was very welcoming!”
