“We loved the great-room just off the dining/kitchen area, as well as the boat dock for lounging and kayaking. Used the patio for grilling and campfire with s'mores. The location at the north end of the lake is a convenient launching point for area attractions. Couldn't really use the spare sitting room as a bedroom, but fortunately we didn't need it. Had a few minor issues, but the owner/host was very responsive. ”

The attention to detail really stood out—from the bear themed accents, to the cozy bonus loft, to the luxurious massage chair in the master bedroom. “If I could give the property 10 stars I would! The place was absolutely amazing. It was very clean and I loved the layout. This is the first time I stayed at a log cabin and we will definitely be back! Every time I sent a message to the owner she responded so quickly. We even were able to enjoy the fire pit. The boys absolutely loved the game room. It was things to do for the whole family which I enjoyed. I can’t even really describe how comfy the beds were. One of the best beds I’ve slept in at……

“nice property, far away from everything. Large mid century ranch with plenty of room / all the amenities you need. As noted in other reviews, wireless service and internet / wifi was spotty but I would return. 90 minutes from DC”
