“Exactly as advertised. It’s a cottage. Shower is small but reasonable. A bit of an odd layout but serviceable for a couple. If I had a single surprise it was that there wasn’t a door to the bedroom. Not a big deal unless one of you has insomnia and is wandering half the night. We enjoyed our stay. Communication was great. There was a ln area power outage in the area and our hosts were right there letting us know there was an issue and making sure we were ok”

“This house was great for our girls weekend! A lot of bunk beds, but we did our best to make it work. Some of our group are older women and it was not safe for them to adventure to a top metal bunk bed, but we were aware of that when we booked. Not a negative, just something to consider. The lake is very "mushy" and not really swim worthy, but a nice view! The indoor pool is AMAZING! The host is wonderful, very responsive and understanding. “Stayed at the Perch for a long Holiday weekend. The area is mostly quiet. Jeannie the owner was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The house was clean and well supplied. We did not have contact with the local care keeper, a couple messages were not returned. Perch lake is a very small lake, a pontoon ride around the lake would take 30 min. or less. Lake is best for fishing, kayaking or just viewing. The Perch Lodge checked all the boxes, the lake on the other hand is quite limited (I……

“The property was great. Lots of places to hike and explore. The lake was beautiful with crystal clear water. The bottom was sandy but due to the Lilly pads and weeds if you wanted to swim you need to get in at the end of the dock. Fishing was good with a lot of nice bass and a few northern pike 20-30 inches. There were 2 canoes 2 kayaks and a rowboat along with life vests. But be aware you may need to share because there are 2 other places to rent on the property. The Ranger house was well……
