“It is a pretty average hotel and in many ways way below average. The location is good and the views are breathtaking but the hotel itself is poorly maintained and the staff seem to just go through motions. ”

“This place was just ok for a hotel in India. It’s so far up a mountain that access to outside food and drivers are slim, so you are at the hotel’s mercy for pretty much anything. The balcony was nice and so was the view. No ac in this hotel, and no mosquito nets. There was a really old plug in fan in the room though and it didn’t really fit well with the rest of the room. None of the outlets worked. They are the old India outlets, so the front desk had to bring up their converters. Not……

“Staying in Munnar is expensive, even for 2 nights. I decided to stay in a hotel which is approx 10km from the city. This did mean I needed to be transported everywhere if not exploring the immediate area. I wanted to see Munnar and all it had to offer in 2 nights. Fortunately I did find a tour which would cover this and provided a collection and drop service. Though, due to the distance you must acknowledge it'll be approx 500 INR each way. If you book a taxi its usually for set distance and……

“The only good thing about this hotel is the location. The location was perfect however our stay was not great! The fan in the room was wobbly and shaking really bad even on speed 1 with a loud noise. When we shared our concern with the staff he came and he checked for himself and he giggled when we said that we are scared the fan will fall on us while sleeping. He said he will come back and never did, we never got a new room or didn’t even come back to fix the fan. The shower before we used it……

“I booked this hotel on a whim after reading the reviews and wanting to pamper myself on my vacation to India. I was traveling there with another friend of mine. The Manager Mr. Randheesh and Ms. Renju graciously greeted us and helped make tour arrangements as well. The chef and other staff kept checking on us to make sure we were comfortable and happy.
