“We just returned from our trip. First the location was excellent. The property is very picturesque and really afford the visitor great places to walk and truly see the coast of Maine. The host did a really good job in communicating with us and was respectful of our privacy. Concerning the condition and the amenities of the property…This home is a two family, which is fine however there were many things missing that were really would’ve been nice to have. “I was surprised it was close to the road but Penobscot quiets down about 8pm so road noise was not an issue. It was a lovely house to stay in.Very comfortable. Easy to get from there to Castine, Blue Hill, Deer Isle. The walk down to the beach is lovely and the views across the Bay are always interesting as the tide comes in and out.”

“The farmhouse was a lovely place to stay while exploring Acadia National Park! The house was extremely clean, had all of the supplies we needed, was very well-maintained, and was located very close to the park and all of the local towns. We loved the property - the backyard is nice and offers a great view of the stars at night, and the house is very comfortable. “This is a room in a lovely old farmhouse. I thought the description could have been more detailed: I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The room is on the second floor; the bathroom is private but down a short hallway. The property is in the country and very quiet. Restaurants and stores are in Ellsworth, and easy 20-25 minute drive. Hosts are lovely and not intrusive. ”
