Not only inside, but beautiful grounds, garage, well equipped fire pits, boathouse with many toys, large dock for boats/pontoon.Clear water for swimming, and easy walk from house to beautiful Big Portage lake.My favorite place was the catwalk to a private space over looking the lake. “Very private setting and extremely quiet. On dead end road and very little traffic. The small lake is a gem, particularly because there are no motorboats. Access to hiking, including in the Sylvania Wilderness, is a real plus. For folks looking for a true northwoods getaway free from noise, traffic and crowds and surrounded by natural beauty, this place qualifies.”

“Lovely house set in a large grassy yard (perfect for badminton, ghosts in the graveyard or just running around) and fronting onto a lovely quiet lake great for swimming and kayaking (house has a couple kayaks to borrow). The house shares a sandy beach and dock with an adjacent rental, perfect for kids and adults. We had two families staying including 3 adult kids, one teenager, and the set up worked out very well. We'd love to come back next year. ”

“The cabin was spacious and clean. The owner came by and greeted. He was super helpful and polite. The cabin was well stocked with. Hand soap, toiletries, dishwasher detergent…you name it. This was the first VBRO stay I didn’t need to run to the store and get some because the owner kept everything well stocked. The beds were also comfortable and my little children had so much fun. The beach front was great and the docks were perfect for the kids to fish from. He let us use both docks which was……
