“Bluegrass fest at motel”

“This was a fantastic hotel to stay at when we were in the city for a concert at The Armoury, it is about a 5 minute walk. It’s also very close to the Nicollet mall. Many great dining options nearby. The hotel is quaint and very lovely. They offer parking for $15 USD per night. Each night they offer warm cookies and milk at around 10:30. They have fresh coffee and tea as well as flittered water in the lobby for free each morning from 7-11 am. There is a restaurant however we did not partake……

“Very quiet, staff (which you will not see too often) are very friendly and eager to help in any way. Rooms are very nice and clean. The only downside that I would mention is that there is no cable TV, only broadcast. That being said I will definitely be staying at Erik's Retreat again. Wonderful experience. ”

“A charming chain hotel that didn't feel like a chain. The rooms were nicely appointed with special "white bear" touches. Great towels and bedding. Loved Rudy's rooftop bar and the saltwater pool area was very nice. ”

“The room looked great and smelled fresh and clean. It was much more room than I needed for my short stay. I really appreciated the extra places to set my things down, and the refrigerator to keep my beverages cold was great. They offered a few complementary breakfast options & even had cold items to take if you left before they had some warm items out. Both of the staff members that I met were friendly. I would stay here again if in the area. ”
