“We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was very convenient, close to the freeway and eateries within walking distance. As a mom traveling alone with my kids, I felt safe and comfortable here. Kid friendly breakfast was included as well as the indoor swimming pool. ”

“The room was adequate for what I needed. This is by far not a luxury hotel and the location is a little run down with an abandoned hotel next to it but it is conveniently placed right off the highway for a quick stay when needed. ”

“The lobby is special and opened. With just a little improvement like new carpet a change of the elevator it will be a pretty nice hotel. It has all the potential to look like a luxury hotel. ”

“Beautifully restored house with spacious, clean rooms. The staff were all extremely nice and accommodating. They even thought of all the little things that make a B&B special like leaving rain ponchos out for the guests on rainy days and leaving a variety of freshly baked goods out for late night snacks. It was a 15 minute ride to Churchill Downs and 5 minutes from downtown Louisville. But, there were many restaurants and pubs in short walking distance. I highly recommend the Market Street Inn. ”

“The mansion is impressive. The restoration of the old building is done so well, and I loved the ambience. They left us some cookies in the kitchen, and they were delicious. I asked for an extra blanket at about 9:00 PM during our stay. I never got one. It turned out that I was comfortable without it, but I thought it was strange that I didn't get a response. My side of the mattress sagged in the middle, even though it seemed there was a mattress topper. I like my mattresses with a little more……

“The hotel was in a very good area of Downtown Louisville. Easy walk to restaurants, distilleries and places of interest around town. The hotel was nice and quiet, staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We definitely would recommend and stay here again.”

“What a wonderful fairytale stay! We had an attic suite for our babymoon. I can not imagine any better place for the occasion. Our suite were decorated in a “hobbit inspired theme” with arched doors and huge bathroom with a bathtub-jacuzzi! Our host Jeremy was very pleasant and kind to let us check in early. We had an electric kettle (it is rare in hotels in the US) in the room and could make our morning and evening tea without leaving the room. So much reminded me some place in Europe. Overall……
