“We loved staying here, it was rustic, simple and relaxing. I loved the rich history and the care and thought Ian put into making the cabin enjoyable. “The property was in a very nice area near Mt Hood and very secluded as advertised. The only issue we had with place was the bedroom in loft and bathroom. Both of which are not meant for people with mobility issues or taller than 6ft. The loft had over a 24-inch step up to access the room. That seems like a very easy fix to add a step into room. The upstairs would still be challenging even with that modification due to steep, narrow staircase and angles of ceiling. I am just under……

“The a-frame was so sweet! Very clean, good amenities, nice hot tub and has AC. The drive back is a little hard to find and the road has lots of potholes, but it was worth it!”

“The house worked out great for our family to have access to xc skiing on Mt Hood over the MLK weekend. The boys loved the game room ping pong, darts, and foosball. We all enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen is set up to cook and bake. The gas grill might need a tuneup or new cylinder as it wasn’t quite as hot as it could have been. Comfortable and clean, everyone had a good time. ”

“This home is nestled into a beautiful wooded area along the Washsougal River. It was so peaceful and relaxing that we could have stayed another week or two. The log cabin is spacious and quaint. It provided everything we needed from a stocked kitchen, comfy beds, plenty of towels and chairs for hanging riverside. I enjoyed running along the winding roads that provided gorgeous views. We would love to come back and stay here again. We didn't want to leave!”

“We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! Very clean, well organized with many games and activities to do. Close to stores but far away enough to feel like a retreat. We would definitely stay again. Be sure to say hi to the sheep and alpacas, they’re such cuties! ”

“Host was extremely responsive and accommodating. Isn’t it GREAT when everything works, kitchen has everything and sharp knives. The space worked for 3 old guys and seems appropriate for a family planning hikes or skiing or just chill.”

“The cabin had some quirks about. It must’ve been on an ant hill, as there was an extreme issue with ants. Cleanliness was less than desirable cobwebs everywhere dirty fan, not kept horribly as your toilets and areas were clean, but the overall cleanliness of the place was not desirable.”

“Lovely house in a great location to enjoy Mt. Hood.”

“This quaint cabin was the perfect getaway for myself and a few of my friends. The booking and check in process was very easy. The home owner was quick to respond with any questions and provided all the information we needed for our stay. The location was perfect for us, set back just enough off the road, but close to restaurants and entertainment. The host was also very gracious and had a welcome gift for us upon arrival. We had six people all together in our group and we all slept very……

“Gorgeous location is mostly private, possibly visible by only one neighbor. The hot tub works great, but a shelter/gazebo around the hot tub would have been nice. The utilization of space was good in the house. One of the bedrooms upstairs is a loft that overlooks the living room below. People in that loft bedroom will hear activity below until everyone else has gone to bed, too. Very spacious parking can easily accommodate larger vehicles. Overall, we would definitely recommend this property.……

“It was in a nice setting among the trees and along the creek. It was conveniently only 50 minutes from mt hood meadows. 2 of the bathrooms/showers were a bit awkward to use separately but understandable since it is obvious an add on to the property . And we made it work. The kitchen could have been a bit more supplied - maybe add aluminum foil and baggies to the drawer. There were only 2 dish towels int he kitchen and no dish rag to wipe the counters off with - only a sponge. Baking dishes……

“We loved the cabin. Warm, cozy and had everything we needed. Great space for our family of four with two teens. The game room was fun but a little cold in winter. It would be great in summer! We went snowboarding at timberline and the meadows and it was a quick drive to both! We noticed that other renters “forgot” to pick up the dog poop so we had to watch our step in the yard. Thanks for the wood. ”
