“This house was in a great safe feeling neighborhood. Check in was very easy. Communication with the host was very easy and they always answered. The only complaint we had was that we noticed quite an ant problem in the upstairs master bedroom. It's Oregon and the right time of year that these guys show up so we don't hold it against the property owner but it was a little unnerving. Other than that stay was good. “Overall stay was ok but the check in process was a mess. I paid for an extra day because I was coming in the middle of the morning with several little kids and the gate had a padlock on it. It was cool, cloudy, and rainy during our stay, and we didn't care! Hot-tubbing in the rain is an exquisite experience. The home was just rustic enough to be an authentic cabin in the forest. “The highlight of this property is really the view. Mt Hood is just gorgeous, and the property also sits over a bend in the Sandy River with forest all around. You can even see what I think is Mt St Helens on a sunny day. The deck, hot tub, fire pit, and the small private deck are all just incredibly places to take on the view and the many birds.
