“This was our first visit to Hawaii and we couldn't have found a better property to stay at. Secluded, quiet and well maintained. The River Cottage was so well equipped with kitchen ware, microwave, full oven, refrigerator and even Alexa for listening 🎧 to music at night on our Lanai. Paul the property manager was gracious and the cottage was immaculate. From this property, you are only five minutes by car away from Smith Family Farms where there is a 30 acre botanical garden and luau that runs……

“Our stay at Coco Cottage was exceptional. The beauty of the property with hidden Gems of Orchids brought peace and relaxation on the lanai.We were very comfortable! The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need. Umbrellas and chairs for the beach were also provided. The location is great! It is an easy walk to Poipu beach where we enjoyed watching the turtles. The Hosts were very responsive, welcoming, and have thought of everything for a home away from home. We would come back!!”

“Enjoyed our stay! Loved the screened in porch for meals. Enjoyed sunset every evening at Po'ipu beach park a 5 minute walk. Great hike on the Heritage Trail to Secret Beach. We did day trips to Eleele and Hanapepe, Salt Beach Waimea and Kekaha beach. All in all a fantastic stay. Easy check-in and spacious house. Quiet neighborhood. ”

“Absolutely loved the location, the quiet neighborhood, the big lanai, the outdoor shower and the brand new bbq! Found the counter space a bit small for doing much cooking. Only small issue was that the cutlery drawer had a horrible musty smell, possibly from the wicker tray, so we kept our cutlery in a mug on the counter. Would definitely stay again!”

“Not everyday you can wake up, walk onto the back patio and watch endangered green sea turtles lounging in a cove. Really amazing - we counted 13 at one point. Magical location.The house was really comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was a great farmer's market (on Saturday) just blocks away. The outdoor shower was super. For those interested, there is a clean, newer walking mall with restaurants, ice cream and shopping within a short walk. For those wanting a more local……

Please note, check out is 10am (which means the cleaners will be there waiting at 9:50) despite the checkout time on VRBO stating 11am.”

“For us, the cottage was perfect in every way. We like to keep our time on the north shore simple. We rented bikes and only used the car for specific outings. We walked the beach, swam the ocean, used the outdoor shower, and lived on the lanai except when we were in the gardens. The cottage is lovely and equipped with everything we needed.
