“This place exceeded our expectations. It is a Hidden Gem or a Secret garden back in the woods through the corn fields. It's like a whole new world of exploration and beauty. You instantly feel calm and connected to nature here. My family and I felt so at home. We love exploring and there's plenty to explore around here. We saw over 30 bird species, had a close encounter with a Blue Heron near the hot tub, and enjoyed the little frogs playing in the creek. “This property was just what we needed, a place to stay with our dogs while we attended an out-of-town graduation. Beds were comfy and the cottage was nice with good drinking water (not well water).Only issues were no door directly to the backyard (so you still have to leash the dogs to let them out), no hand rail on the stairs (my mom couldn't safely stay here), quirky design (shower door blocks the towel rack when open) and the lighting challenge of an older home (no light switch in main……

“From the moment you enter the area and pull up to the cottage, you know you made the right choice. You can tell this property has been recently updated with care. Everything looks new or almost new. There is a private King bedroom with master bathroom, 2 good size queen bedrooms with a couple of pull outs. The queen bedrooms are close to a second bathroom with shower. The living room is spacious, the dining room is cozy and the kitchen has everything you would want for a trip like this. This……

“Cabin was cozy, fit the 4 of us comfortably. Lake was calm and beautiful- the sunset views were spectacular. Having access to the dock to park our boat was a major perk. We learned quickly not to leave any food/soda on the countertop as small ants will find it quickly! Other than that, we had a wonderful stay.”

“My wife and I spent our honeymoon here. It was an amazing location. Clean home and great owners. Would definitely stay again!!”

“We had a wonderful weekend at Stacey’s home. The place was clean, spacious and well stocked with everything we needed to cook and grill. The lawn was great and right on a shallow sandy swim area. Beds were very comfortable. The hosts were very responsive answering all of our questions, and check in was very easy. Great spot overall on Diamond Lake! ”

“Charming cottage. You can tell this cottage is loved and well cared for. You could see the updates. I was impressed with all the supplies they gave you to start off. Usually you might get 1tp roll and 1 paper towel roll, no soap. Amenties included 2 kayaks, 2 paddleboards, inflated boat, float pad thingy, fishing pole, charcoal bbq, fire pit, beach towels. Centrally located to tons of towns- holland, south haven, st joseph, Kalamazoo, etc.... honestly, though if you just want low key and……

“The cottage was cute and worked well for our visit. The upstairs was wonderful and perfect for our needs. The pier and beach area were great. The area is wonderful & the lake is just the right size for bopping around in a pontoon and floating. The only thing I would say is that the downstairs is just a large room with a lot of beds and it was hard to get it cooled off, was musty and had active spiders, so we all decided to sleep upstairs.”
