“Exactly what we wanted plenty to do and good food ”

“Fantastic location, the place itself was incredible. The kitchen/living room was huge, very spacious, big windows so lots of light and very well equipped. Private and out of the way. Bedrooms and bathrooms were an excellent size, well equipped, and very clean. Beds very very comfortable. The area was very quiet, convenient (bus stop nearby, trains within walking distance, shop within walking distance although a hill to get there but that didn't bother us at all). “We enjoyed our stay! Good location on the beach in walking distance of restaurants and relatively easy to park on the street. Friendly staff, and great food at the restaurant. Breakfast was solid too with the option of kippers to go with a full-English-type spread. Would recommend! ”

“The room is clean and tidy. The breakfast is good with different options. The hotel is a little bit far from the ferry pier, it takes about 25 mins to walk there. If you have luggage, you'd better call a taxi, the taxi fare is reasonable anyway. ”

Lovely clean room, nice bed, quiet street, had our own kitchenette and living room and bathroom, it was pretty much like renting a whole apartment but cheaper! “The Sefton is a grand building toward the town centre end of the promenade and about 10 minutes walk from the Sea Terminal and buses to and from the airport stop close by, so very convenient. Check in was smooth. I booked an atrium room which was quiet, modern but not bland. Good bathroom, living area with a balcony. The room was clean and in good order, regular top ups in the tea/ coffee dept; along with complimentary bottled water. The bed was rather firm I thought but I slept well. Breakfast……

“We had a wonderful stay in the Halvard hotel. The staff were welcoming, and accommodating for our requests. Our room was clean, spacious and had a lovely view of the sea and the promenade. The breakfast was excellent, with good options for hot breakfast that's freshly prepared and a small buffet. The location of the hotel is great, being less than 10 min walk from the ferry passenger terminal, on the sea front and downtown area, and in walking distance to the bus station. We loved our stay here,……
