“What can I say, this place was darn near perfect! The location makes this place feel so secluded. Even though there's another house close, the trees screen it so well. The neighbors were very quiet too. The lake itself was so peaceful. We were able to kayak all around the lake without worrying about boat traffic. Plenty of wildlife all around. We saw bald eagles, loons, cranes, herons, woodpeckers, turtles, frogs, deer, etc. so nice to be able to see so much wildlife! The house can sleep an……

“We loved our stay here. We had plans to go on some day trips but cancelled all of them because of how much we enjoyed the stay.The rooms were clean and main living area was perfect for our kids to run around and relax.We LOVED being able to walk down to the beach and play multiple times a day. We look forward to coming back again! ”

“This house was great for our girls weekend! A lot of bunk beds, but we did our best to make it work. Some of our group are older women and it was not safe for them to adventure to a top metal bunk bed, but we were aware of that when we booked. Not a negative, just something to consider. The lake is very "mushy" and not really swim worthy, but a nice view! The indoor pool is AMAZING! The host is wonderful, very responsive and understanding. “Really didn’t get to take in the full effect of Silver Lake, as this was just used as a mid way destination to the UP. However the cottage was very nice and cozy! Hot tub was nice and warm. Would visit again!”

“The house was set up so nicely for our family. Everything was labeled with plenty of additional information on the property and area events put out for us to browse through. A lot of games set up to play. Clean and well put together. My only disappointment was the haul down to the river. It was a little more than I expected. The river was beautiful though. A little chilly for full out swimming in, but we still played in it. Went to the pond down the road to swim instead. ”
