“The house was adorable and perfect for our relaxed little family of four and fur kids. We are easy going and really don’t need too much. With that said it was a rainy weekend and the walk from our vehicle to the house was extremely wet, socks, shoes, bottom of pants soaked. A nice little stepping stone walkway would be awesome. But unlike the rest of my family I packed rain boots and didn’t have an issue. The area was serene the hike to the beach definitely a crows mile, we didn’t ever end up……

“We loved this little cabin! It had everything we needed! One thing to be aware of: the local pickleball community has adopted part of the street leading to the cabin as their courts. They’ll move to let you by, but it gets a bit crowded at times and they’re less than thrilled about stopping play to move their nets. Other than that, it was excellent!”

“The cabin was amazing, cozy and private. My only suggestions would be to provide bug spray or citronella candles. Bugs weren't crazy but those tiny mosquitoes were such an annoyance. As long as we kept moving, which we did, we weren't bothered. The properties little trails were fun, lots of surprises and areas we could sit and meditate for short periods. We wanted to take all our trash out however, traveling from Idaho we didn't plan on bringing any trash bags and we had to empty one of our……

“This was our second time staying at Brenda & Butch's gorgeous cabin perched above the South Fork Eel river. Previously we visited during the summer and staying for the New Years holiday was a drastically different but equally amazing experience! It had rained for days prior and the river was absolutely huge and such a sight to see, each day after the rain stopped we loved watching the river recede and expose rocks, trees and shoreline. We went on some beautiful hikes around the property finding……
