“The land is beautiful! We enjoyed paddle boarding and canoeing at the lake in the mornings and late afternoons, as well as going to the river to splash in the water. It was very relaxing to drink our coffee at the porch while watching the multiple birds, and going back at night to see the milkway in the clear sky. It is a working farm, and people live next door, so expect some noise and equipment running at times, but everyone was friendly and respectful. Diane is a very friendly host who……

“The house was beautiful, spacious and clean! The views from the deck were gorgeous. It is a beautifully stunning area. Highlights other than the house were Black Sand Beach, Needle Point, and the local brewery. I would definitely recommend this house.”

“This property was fully equipped, has beautiful views of the ocean sitting above the road, is two stories ,has a deck on second floor and is walking distance to state beach. While water is reported potable it has a horrible color, which the owner fully disclosed so take you drinking water. ”

“Spacious home with all the desirable vacation amenities. The house was large enough for a gathering of at least 10 people if not more. There are only two bathrooms despite having 5 bedrooms, so keep that in mind. The property seemed to be designed with a “man cave” focus, minus a pool table; large TVs in every room with a grand outdoor kitchen. We could not wait until sunrise to see the beautiful views on top of the mountain. I would caution that a good vehicle is needed to get up to the house……

“We loved it here. The community is quiet, the little general store had the couple of extra things we didn’t get that we needed when we were in fort bragg. We felt safe to walk there, and it was quick and easy. The view was just incredible, and we loved how secluded we felt. Kitchen has everything we needed, clean and well appointed. “This quaint, cozy home was exactly what my family was looking for as a holiday hideout on the coast! We were able to cook, grill, relax, walk, golf, and frequent both the brewery and pizza place nearby (both fantastic). This was our first time in Shelter Cove and it is both remote and beautiful. We loved hearing the ocean roar, watching the deer on their daily visits, and catching beautiful sunsets between rainy days. The home was clean and comfortable, with soft bedding and plenty of comfy……
