“A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! ”

John our host was lovely and cooked us delicious breakfasts. Also lovely surrounds with a donkey across the road who loved a pat, and some cats on the property who loved a cuddle. Highly recommend.”

“Edwin was fantastic, he made us feel very welcome from the moment we got there. The property is beautiful and a short walk to a lovely lakeside look out where we watched the sunset (Edwin's recommendation). The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed chatting to Edwin each morning over the delicious breakfast he cooked us (with fresh bread and eggs from his gorgeous ducks!) and the meal easily sustained us throughout the day which was perfect. “Fabulous hotel in lovely location. I could tell you about the great bedroom with very spacious bathroom with great towels. Both spotless. I could tell you about their excellent dinner menu & equally excellent breakfast. Instead I'll tell you about the staff. Every one of them from check-in to restaurant staff were friendly, knowledgeable & professional. A credit to the hotel.”

“Myself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted. Thank you for the stay, it made our break, we will definitely be booking again.”
