“This was the perfect home base for us and our adult children when we were not with extended family on Christmas Eve and Christmas. The rooms are smallish but comfortable and tastefully decorated. Lauren' simple and elegant Christmas touches made us feel welcome. The kitchen had everything we needed. “Private and very clean location. King bed was SOOO comfortable to relax and sleep in. Roomy bathroom. Just like staying in a fancy hotel. If was staying longer would have preferred more than a mini fridge. Since no kitchen we made due with doing dishes in shower & sink with a small wash tub. Possibly a small utility sink in laundry storage room would be beneficial. Brought an electric griddle to make our food a few times. Otherwise a perfect location with nice views on both of the spacious……

“Once a year my BF and I get our families together somewhere between our cities and chill for a long weekend. We are usually looking for something of a Big Chill house (movie reference). In that, we scored with Penny's home in Quincy. Her home is truly beautiful and was designed for entertaining. The entire property can be seen from two sitting areas plus an screen room facing the woods and Quincy Bay. The kitchen was massive and had everything we needed.
