“My spouse and I stayed at Julie’s quaint and cozy little cabin during Geodefest in nearby Keokuk. We also took an afternoon to explore Nauvoo. The location off the highway made for easy and short trips to both locations. The cabin was very clean and I was very surprised and impressed by the A/C’s ability to keep the whole place comfortably cool. While it is readily apparent that the cabin is over 100yo, the immense character adds to the charm. All the furniture is comfortable and appliances work……

“This was the perfect home base for us and our adult children when we were not with extended family on Christmas Eve and Christmas. The rooms are smallish but comfortable and tastefully decorated. Lauren' simple and elegant Christmas touches made us feel welcome. The kitchen had everything we needed.
