It's very conveniently positioned to explore the island (you will need a car but roads and traffic are really easy to navigate), easy access and parking. The villa has everything needed and more. “A very charming small hotel. The hotel was an old olive oil producing village that fell into ruin. Each of the rooms has been renovated from small workers cottages to a charming standard. It is such a lovely, quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle. The pool is idyllic, the only criticism would be that I think it should be adults only. The ambience was somewhat spoilt when there was a couple with a baby who was crying by the pool and had the parents speak baby talk which ruined the quiet……

“A great hotel with lovely staff and very clean. Reception area is welcoming, beautiful and smells fantastic! The rooms are a little on the small side and the lighting isn’t great, especially in the bathroom and shower. There is also a smell which comes from the drains but overall, a great hotel and I would highly recommend it. 3 pools to choose from all with beds although they need to be stricter on the policy of not reserving subbed early in the morning. ”

“Booked as a last minute 3 night stay for my wife and I, having not been to Crete previously. The hotel was great. Large clean room with a sea view, 2 pools, a water park and plenty of sunbeds. There is also a reserved area on the beach for hotel guests with an all inclusive bar right next to it. The food was good, with plenty of choice. I would 100% recommend this hotel. We are already looking at returning again with our kids.”

“Das Studio war auf dem neuesten Stand, stylisch, tolles Mobiliar, sehr gutes Bett, gut ausgestattete Küche, einziger Kritikpunkt sind der fehlende Spiegel über dem Waschbecken und fehlende Haken (ev. wäre eine Hakenleiste an der WC Türe eine Möglichkeit), ich habe immer eine Haken mit Saugnapf mit für alle Fälle. Großer Balkon mit Wahnsinnsblick auf die Bucht. Großes Lob sonst an die Ausstattung! Der kleine integrierte Laden bietet eine gute Einkaufsmöglichkeit. Top Unterkunft!”

“We stayed at Aegean View for two weeks, in Stavromenos. We came with two kids, ages 13 and 11. It was an excellent stay. It's a new hotel and the owner and staff were very responsive to our needs. The pool is very nice, the breakfast is perfect, lots of fruit, delicious eggs, ham and cheese, etc. Air conditioning worked well in the room which is crucial for a July vacation in Crete. Lots of parking and we rented a car and drove all around Crete. One big bonus was that it was just 10 minutes from……
