“Absolutely LOVED our stay at the HODO! Such a great location and amazing property. Anyone can stay at a chain hotel…this place is special. The rooms are adorned with local artists / artwork and the accommodations are great. It says it’s a three star hotel…but our stay at the HODO surpasses many four and five star hotels we’ve stayed at in the past. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area too. “The front desk and airport shuttle staff were exceptional. Very friendly and professional. My room was fine, nothing special. It was a sad gray and white with no carpet or rug. In place of a closet, there was a cabinet for hanging clothes. It was way too short and my dresses got wrinkled from balling up on the floor. The make mirror was broken in the bathroom. The worst was that the floor (vinyl fake wood) was dirty—hair balls, crumbs, etc. The bed was comfortable and the hot shower was……

“Staff was friendly and helpful, and our room was clean but smelled like someone had been smoking in it. No mattress cover on the bed, mattress was old and dirty looking. Carpet in the hallway was stained and there were holes in the walls. the smoke detector in our room was hanging by the wires. Shower door was hard to open and once open, hard to close. We were woken up by yelling outside, police were present, and we found a syringe in the parking lot.Pictures were nothing like what we saw when……
