All the attractions were closer and can get there without fighting the traffic from Ellsworth.Checkin process was easy and the property was very calm and peaceful with plenty of things to do for children. “The barn loft was great for us! Very comfortable and well supplied. We stayed here to visit Acadia and the location worked well for us. The owner did such a good job creating this space.Southwest Harbor was a good choice since its near ethe park but quiter than Bar Harbor. I would highly recommend the barn loft!”

“The apartment is in an old (historic) house and is equipped with all the necessities for a comfortable stay. Belfast is a little hilly but very walkable including the harbor walk and rail trail. We took in a movie at Colonial Theatre only 2 blocks away. A small, quirky place that’s been upgraded for a modern movie experience.
