“We had a lovely stay in this beautiful place. The kitchen was well-stocked and had the space and all the tools we needed to cook our meals. The location is perfect, on the quiet side of the island but across the street from a pebble beach and only a half mile to the cute town of Southwest Harbor, with a grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants, art galleries, gift shops and a bakery. It’s an easy drive to some amazing hikes. Perfect for a couple’s getaway!”

“We loved our stay! Pictures didn’t do it justice as indoor and outdoor spaces exceeded our expectations. Owners were accomodating, quick to respond, and made every effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Would absolutely stay here again.For those looking to explore Acadia National Park and sourrounding areas, this side of the island was more relaxed, more authentic, cooler in temp, and more laid back. “Everything exceeded our expextations. The place was spotless. The road to get the rental was rough. You have to watch out for the pot holes but definitely not a deal breaker. ”

“The place was exactly as advertised. Plenty of space with an amazing view of the ocean from the balcony. We had coffee in the morning overlooking the ocean. While the sound of passing cars do hinder the sound of the ocean, the later in the evening it gets, the more the the relaxing ocean waves come through, which makes for a great night's sleep. They even left an awesome tote bag, which my wife loves. We will definitely be returning.”

“We were given an upgrade gratis to the upstairs, large, 2-bed, apartment. Totally equipped with lovely furniture, some antique, some very modern, high-end appliances, cookery and local pottery dish-ware. Modern/eclectic vibe within an old building. Thoughtful details everywhere from desk to gorgeous bath. Clean. Comfy beds. Lush towels. A little noisy due to being right on the street but the large back deck and sofa set are fabulous.”

“Good location, clean, updated remodel with a good bathroom and great AC. Hui and Richard could not have been nicer and more helpful...left a welcome gift of honey from their hives. Even helped with a difficult outboard engine! Would definitely stay there again! ”

“Right on the water! Perfect view of Boat races if you are in town for them. I was worried about being right on Main Street, but very little street noise in the town even during a big event. The deck is huge and lots of places to sit. The communal room had some nice snacks to help us keep our 6 year old happy. The town of Stonnington is well worth the visit and a perfect spot to relax. ONLY complaint is I'm not used to having to shuffle a car around due to parking rules. Parking on street……

“This apartment was a great spot to enjoy desert island Maine. It’s a short walk from a small, cute town, and is a clean, cozy place to relax. It is well stocked with things you may need (coffee filtered, linens, crockery—though I’d clean everything before using it— and cleaning supplies) The bed is great, and the space is used creatively.
