“Wonderful birthday destination! The accommodations were cozy, loved the fireplace. Ravens Restaurant was amazing! Every single meal!! We had massages and took a cooking class with Sid. We enjoyed the dry sauna, hot tub and pool that were all located in a greenhouse type setting. So relaxing.”

“A spectacular location and the owner operators genuinely care for their guests experience. The property is old and definitely has some items that could use some updating however, everything was functional and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing (favorite was the crustless quiche) and the coffee was perfect as well. Looking forward to my next visit! ”

“The hotel's promotional photos greatly lowered the hotel's grade, because I think the actual environment of the hotel is much better than in the photos, completely beyond my imagination, the room is very clean and tidy and the scenery is extremely beautiful, the only drawback is that there is no ham sausage for breakfast”

“The room has a wonderful view of the Albion River mouth. We stayed in an upstairs room which doesn't have an outdoor balcony or deck. They offered us a downstairs unit when we checked in but we declined and we are glad we did. We enjoyed sitting in front of the big picture window with our coffee in the morning, watching the ospreys diving for fish. There was a nice gas fireplace to keep us warm in the chilly mornings. ”

“We have stayed here before and really like it . It’s an old Motor court . We do know it’s old and that’s part of its charm . However, The toilet in cottage 3 runs often . I know how to jiggle the handle but after it flushes, we have to keep doing it . I also mentioned to housekeeping that I saw a few ants . ( She was very attentive - always glad to help ) I do not hold that against them . It was very clean, very comfortable ands great Location and we’ll probably stay here again . ”

“We had to trek up four flights of stairs, which is very inconvenient, but it was good exercise. Other than that everything was amazing including the staff. Also, I’m not sure if we were dealing with staff, but there were a lot of people in the kitchen. Every time we went to grab a water and we were unable to have easy access to water or tea.”
