“Mais quel joli hôtel à deux pas de la maison de Victor Hugo. Les chambres sont délicieuses et l’accueil très sympa pour laisser ses bagages en arrivant ou avant de reprendre le bateau. Le jardin est superbe et la vue exceptionnelle. Un bémol? Le restaurant est un peu cher. En revanche le petit déjeuner est excellent.”

“Nice property, close to town, staff were friendly and willing to help. We booked a harbour view room with Expedia and asked about the VIP room upgrade on check-in however the upgraded room was run down and no view and dark. When we asked for the original room w/ harbour view, it was 100 times better, bright and nice views... Staff in general are all very friendly and polite - all from Africa with great manners, care, and willingness to help. ”

“We arrived late because of flight delays, but were welcomed and no problems. Always staff were friendly and helpful. The building is old and not perfect, but kept clean and looked after. Breakfasts were ordinary, but plentiful. Didn't eat there in the evening - it seemed a bit noisy for me. ”

“In a quiet spot, out of town, but with good bus links to centre of St Peter Port. Very steep access, but less steep using 2nd floor door through garden to main road. Useful free shuttle available on certain days for town. Only complaint is that there needs to be more advance information about the dining facility. On arrival we were told that the kitchen was closed on certain days and that we had to walk to the co-owned nearby Mexican restaurant for evening meals. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Farmhouse and would definitely go back again and recommend it to others. The room was nicely appointed, clean and quiet. The restaurant, bars and garden areas were all really nice too. The hotel staff were all very polite, attentive and helpful ”
