“This small getaway cabin was everything we needed for a quiet lake inspired vacation. Kitchen was well stocked for our few meals in. The welcome book has a list of places to eat in the area which we tried for lunch. The pool was a relief on the hot afternoons and it wasn’t crowded. Our only regret was that beyond fishing and exploring the state park there wasn’t much to do nearby. ”

“This property is a great location on the lake for a family outing with kids or just adults. The lake access is phenomenal. There is a boat launch just around the corner and it is an easy tie up at the dock. The owner communicated extremely well and offered a lot of help with my questions regarding the stay. A”

“We stayed here while in Huntsville for a wedding (At the Shire) and it was perfect for kids. The main attraction of this property is the large amount of land and space for kids to roam. The owners installed a zip line, a large trampoline, and lots of animals roam like ponies, chickens, and rabbits. We are from Austin so it was a treat for our kids to have so much open outdoor space! The actual house part is perfectly fine and accommodating and has a rustic country feel - although outdoors is……

“This is an amazing place to stay at and it’s very convenient an close to the lake an the property owner are very friendly and kind.it’s very kids friendly..an the wild ducks just to be able to relax in peace .the only the that could have made it better was longer vacation..I would recommend to everyone This is a big 10 in my book.. thank you”
