“The hotel was lovely; the rooms were very well appointed and comfortable. It was very quiet and relaxing. The common rooms were very nice and welcoming. The staff was professional, gracious and friendly. We spent a lovely cocktail hour in the lounge and enjoyed delicious custom cocktails. Dinner and breakfast were first rate! Local foods, creatively prepared. We went for an afternoon hike along the canal, which was easy to access from the property. Highly recommend this property.”

The hotel is very near to Harlech Castle, just 3 minute walking distance, but it also means that the hotel situates on the hill as well... So it is better call hotel come to rail station to pick you up....

“We stayed just one night but found the location just perfect being just a few minutes walk to the seafront and the town with plenty of parking and views out over the sea. The hotel was dog friendly we had a very comfortable large room and a lovely breakfast with great service. I can’t recommend this hotel more…. it was perfect!”
“Nice hotel, and the most popular venue in Dolgellau. Ensure you arrange your evening meal before 8pm, as everything stops serving early (out of season), including the hotel. Was extremely disappointing to be left with just a kebab shop at 8:20pm, with absolutely no alternatives. Town has some nice eateries, but everything shuts early and it feels like a ghost town by 9pm. ”

“Room especially the toilet was huge and comfortable. They also gave very large towels which was great.
Only gitch as the housekeepinb fell short on the last day - the bins werent emptied and the floor towel was not replaced.”
