“Warm, friendly welcome by the owner. As it turned out, we were the only visitors staying in the hotel, so had a nice opportunity for a chat over a beer - well stocked with what appeared to be the full range of bottled beers from Purple Moose Brewery of Porthmadog. Food was fantastic - both of us had the lamb which was stunning. Lots of it & full of flavour. The accompanying vegetables were equally full of taste. There is a lift but it is a very old one and only takes one person at a time. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking is free, but only on the street and first come... Breakfast was included and fabulous. Evening meal not included and I struggled to find somewhere to eat on a Sunday night. The recommended hotel stopped at 6pm and I ended up in a KFC which would not have……
