“We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. “What a fabulous place and amazing owners. Nigel and Clare are just lovely people. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The alpacas, ducks and hens make it a really interesting place to stay as well. Much easier travel into Betws, Conwy and Snowden from this side as well.”

“I stayed for one nite in room 3 top floor. It’s situated at rear so away from Main Street at front , therefore so quiet . Lovely room , my gut feeling is the breakfast would be great , but I had to leave early so unfortunately can’t comment . Parking for my motorbike was easy and also at rear. Would definitely stay here again . ”

“Our stay was fabulous. The food is 12/10 We had our dog with us so we had to eat in the bar but it has a roaring fire and a lovely atmosphere and I’d argue this was the best seat in the house. Our room was in a little outbuilding and it was just perfect. Super quiet of a night too. The servers are all very young and the best and most smiley service I’ve had in a long time ”

“No issues, it’s self check in and the instructions were easy to follow. Room was very small but perfect for what I needed which was just a bed and somewhere to shower in the morning. Clean compact space, looked recently decorated. Not a huge amount of room to get around in, couldn’t get all the way around the bed if the bathroom door was open for example, not a complaint for me at all but think it’s always handy to read about what you’re booking! No wardrobe but there is a clothes rail above……
