“This place was charming and comfortable. Lots of extra touches, like a cold carafe of water in the fridge, plenty of coffee and creamer in the room, an option to have a small breakfast delivered to your room, all things that made my solo stay even more enjoyable. Loved the fireplace in the room!”

José the gardener made our visit by letting us know about the different plants and flowers that they planted/maintain at the Squibb House. He was so friendly and personal-really made our visit such a treat! We will definitely come back when visiting Hearst Castle and the elephant seal rookery!”

“The best choice in the journey, the whole world is quiet, the sun shines into the house at seven o'clock, bright and warm. The host was warm and friendly. We didn't find it until 9 o'clock in the evening. We were a little hungry. He treated us to delicious pizza and red wine, saying it was a hotel and more of a home experience. I want to come again. I hope to bring my 11-year-old son with me. He will like it very much.”
