“House is located near a wooded area and we saw deer and birds almost daily. There is a view of the ocean from one corner of the house that is great. Parking was difficult but we managed. “If you want the drama of the northern pacific, this place had it. Its all about the views. The house is a cool mid central design, but is dated and a bit more rustic than I imagined it, but still comfortable. There are few opening windows. Only one very small one in the living room. I would stst again. ”

“Wow, the view from this place was so amazing! It had everything we needed, was easy to get to, and soooo relaxing. We really didn't want to leave. The common room views were just fabulous and then there was the porch which was delightful. We prepared great meals and enjoyed them while watching the lake sparkle. Highly recommend this place!”

“My wife and I had a great extended weekend at Captain Javas Cottage. The location is very close to the beach on a route frequented by many folks walking or riding bicycles. Very short drive to downtown Morro Bay or Cayucos. Cottage is stocked with all the necessities and the hosts are friendly and responsive. Definitely on the ‘would stay there again’ list!”
