“We had plans to cross a bucket list item off the list on a 50th birthday celebratory weekend.Unfortunately Mother Nature had a torrential rain planned for our Rock City Gardens plan. This rain gave us an opportunity to spend quality time in the cottage. We grabbed a Breakfast Burrito and settled down in the cottage to binge a few episodes of Downton Abbey while waiting for the rain to subside. This cottage is amazing. Looks like a recently renovated old home. The wood work, the gold floor……

“The house is beautiful, lot is beautiful, neighborhood is beautiful. So close to great hiking. Maureen was helpful and gracious. Couldn’t recommend this house more. We had a great time. ”

“This is an amazing little rental. The location was perfect for us. We were 10-15 minutes away from just about everything. It was clean, and even had some goodies left for us. Absolutely will recommend this place to everyone I know and will most definitely stay here again!!!!! The acoustics were great!”

“The house was perfect for our stay for the weekend. We were down for my daughter’s parents weekend at UTC. This was close enough to her but always far enough from the downtown area. House looks just like the pictures. Only thing was down fall was the beds have a dip in mattress, so we woke up with sore backs. Nothing that some Advil couldn’t help with. We would stay here again. ”

“This is a wonderful place to stay at. I'm disabled so we had one step into the house. The place was clean and cozy. The back porch had a lot of spiders and spider webs but there was a broom provided to sweep off the webs. It's located near a river and in a forest covered mountain so spiders are to be expected. Otherwise plenty of utensils and plates. They also have a grill with comfy porch furniture. Very pleased with the stay. Will return.”

“Very nice getaway for the pup and myself! Little water bottles and snacks on the table, everything you could need, plus your own private covered parking directly by the private entrance! Very comfortable and nicely maintained! Only downside was having to close one window blind so neighbors couldn’t look in the window and there were no coffee pot filters, but easy fix and I left 100 behind for the next guest Will definitely be back again ”
