“I visited Carolina Beach to help me heal from the sudden death of my 36-year-old beloved daughter 6 months ago. I had always stayed with her and her sister at the Golden Sands, but I thought that would just be too painful. I had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn for 4 nights in an oceanfront room. I read, sketched, looked at the ocean, and remembered all the good times with my child. All of the staff were great. In particular, I met the restaurant cook in front of the garden out by the pool.
