W e all felt relaxed from the moment we stepped foot on the property. It is clean, quiet, secluded and thoughtfully managed. We also appreciated the guestbook where we got a lot of great recommendations from past visitors. ”

Everything you could possibly need is provided - a fully stocked kitchen, a big front porch where you'll want to spend all your time on a sunny day, really comfy beds, plenty of bedding, beautiful views, peaceful and quiet. We stayed 4 nights. The location was great for exploring the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument, and surrounding areas. You will love this house!”

“We were looking for a vacation rental that was fairly close to the mountains NE of Prairie City and 3 popped up. This one was perfect! We had family elk hunting and camping up in the mountains but felt like we needed to stay in town due to having a 3 month old baby.
