“My adult daughters and I planned a week long vacation. We truly enjoyed the cottage and can only describe it as a tranquil retreat. It was immaculately clean. The layout was perfect to come together and visit while enjoying the view of picturesque grounds that were beautifully landscaped. We had everything we could possibly need from the kitchen to the bath. The owner was an absolute delight and made sure to make us feel welcome. ”

“Dont stay here! The place is nice inside, but if you want to sleep, dont stay here. Train tracks are a block away and blare their horns all night long. There were 3 trains alone from 1-1:30am. I asked to cancel my second night stay and get a refund due to the fact that this noise issue is not disclosed in the posting. The management company, Evolve, has been extremely dismissive and will only give me a refund worth 1/4 of the daily total, even though I gave notice, asked for a refund, and……

The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook with, and the hosts replied quickly to my questions. As far as location, you aren’t right in Shelton, which is great. We visited, but definitely preferred the quiet of this location. Thank you! ”
