“This is my family’s second stay in this house. I grew up in Hamilton and come back home for the holidays with my kids (and now grandkids). The house is very clean and provides what we need- a clean place to sleep and shower, and prep/cook food to bring to the gathering. The host is great to work with also! I’ve rented from him 3 times and will be back next year! ”

“Beautifully updated older house in a close in, quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable with everything provided. Host very responsive. Would definitely stay here again.”

“This is a great location right on the Mississippi River and a short drive to Nauvoo and Keokuk for groceries and food. The home is VERY clean and has all the necessary amenities, lots of games and all the fun things. Our family LOVED staying in this home and loved visiting Nauvoo. ”

“This is a great place with a beautiful view! It has everything you need for cooking and serving! The place was very clean and neat. The young people loved the pool. The only problem we had was several hornets nests, which caused three little kids to get stung. We bought spray and sprayed the nests.”

“We were in town to help a family member get through wisdom teeth extraction and take care of her 19 month old. This was perfect. Great beds, great location, room for the toddler to play. Awesome!”

“Total of 13 people in our group. Plenty of room and beds for everyone. Really enjoyed the TV room downstairs & super close to Historic Nauvoo. Great communication with property owners. Would recommend.”

“The house is very cute and extremely clean and decorated very tastefully. The host left a package of danishes from the local bakery, which was a nice touch. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was so cozy. This however is not a home for someone who has mobility issues. The issues we had were as follows1) bathtub - HIGH step in to the pedestal tub could be a challenge for some - our friend literally fell out of the tub. Luckily she had piled all of her personal items on the toliet so……

“Communications with host were smooth. Home was very clean and had nice updates. Our stay was short, did not have opportunity to cook, so can't speak as to much in the kitchen. Furniture and beds were comfortable. Not sure if I missed in the description, but the garage is detached and behind the house. You need to use backyard alley to get to it. Not a problem for us, but older guests may find challenging. Our only issue was that house is located on fairly busy road, so you will hear the……
