“Fantastic property for families. Plenty of room and amenities. Nice and quiet place to relax at the end of the day!”

“Great size for three adults. The fenced yard was wonderful for our dogs. The host was very quick to reply to a question on check in day. We would stay here again. One item to note for those with asthma/allergies - there is a no smoking sign posted, but it does appear that other previous guests haven't honored this request. There is a lingering smoke smell indoors. The home was nicely cleaned, but this is a difficult smell to get rid of. ”

“Surprisingly spacious house that is central to all the places we needed to be. Enjoyed having a backyard and more privacy than we typically have at local hotels in Quincy. “This was the perfect home base for us and our adult children when we were not with extended family on Christmas Eve and Christmas. The rooms are smallish but comfortable and tastefully decorated. Lauren' simple and elegant Christmas touches made us feel welcome. The kitchen had everything we needed. A note for elderly guests-- there are a few features which those with less mobility may not be able to take full advantage of. The dining room and chairs are taller than traditional height. “This was hands down our family's favorite stay of our trip (5 or 6 different places). Plenty of sleeping space for the 6 (2 adults, 2 teens, 2 kids). Kitchen was nice, though we didn't use it for much. Air conditioning worked great and main bed was nice. Couch beds were nice enough for the kids to not complain. Location was great for visiting nauvoo and being closer to groceries and such in Keokuk. Really nice stay overall!”
