“The promise of farm animals was the major attraction for us when we chose to stay at The Farmhouse. And we can’t overpraise how fun and interesting our stay turned out to be. Owners Kris and Francisco care for chickens, geese, a Tom Turkey, ponies, goats, and even a 140 lb tortoise, many of them rescues. “We had such a lovely time and we absolutely adored the Magnolia Cottage! It was located perfectly in the midst of Solvang and we were able to walk to everything in the town. The house was clean and very well kept. My only critique is that there weren't many utensils or tools for cooking which made it difficult to make meals in the house. Other than that, we had such an awesome stay and would absolutely recommend staying here!!”

“Relaxing Stay at the CottageWe really enjoyed our second stay at the Wine Country Cottage. The patio is quiet and peaceful with a fire pit and a large gas barbecue (great for grilling steaks). The cottage was very clean and includes a full kitchen, refrigerator, air conditioning, TV, and a very comfortable bed with a luxury mattress.
