Was völlig im Kontrast zum Hotel steht, ist die miserable Bewertung des Restaurants, darum gingen wir nicht dorthin speisen und können kein Urteil dazu abgeben. Wir hatten ein Familienzimmer mit zwei Zimmern, die Verbindungstüre ist so massiv, dass wir einen Koffer benötigten, um die Türe offenzuhalten. Ein Türstopper wäre wünschenswert. “A quaint old-fashioned-- in good ways-- hotel. Room was big, clean and comfortable. Nice that they have an onsite restaurant, bar and very large breakfast room -- complete with a nice hot breakfast (that even includes Bailey's 😁). And a lift/elevator. Only 2 complaints: 1). One must either drive or take a taxi into town-- no public transportation close by and (2) No A/C or fans. Overall, though, a lovely place to stay.”

“For property that was opened up in the 1800s, there are modern conveniences and amenities. Location is perfect, the staff is friendly and nice, and the spa is over the top. The building is very old, but everything else gets an A+ plus. there was a concert of instrumental musicians in the lobby on the night that I arrived, which was extraordinary.”
