“Lovely old fashioned downstairs with bar and where they serve a full Irish breakfast. It’s a very old building and the floorboards in the bedrooms creak and you can hear the people in the next room. Interesting old town in someways and not at all touristy.”

“A cozy, comfortable oasis amidst stunning Irish scenery. 12 minute walk to the ocean, with stunning sunsets and beautiful surrounding pastures (with curious cute cows nearby to boot). Maura, with 40+ years of B & B experience, is the perfect friendly host. Your stay in the house where she raised her family is a comfortable one. A few minutes drive from Galway, this was a lovely site with a couldn't-be-nicer host. She also makes a very tasty breakfast!”

“Our room was small, yet quiet. Parking was a challenge because both the hotel and the restaurant share the few spots. One eventually opened up so our car was off the street. About a 20 minute drive to events in the center of Galway.”

“This place was amazing! Huge, immaculately clean room with two big comfortable beds, fantastic breakfast included, easy parking, and central location to take the train into Galway. I cannot believe how inexpensive our room was! The staff was spectacular, especially the lovely girl at the front desk who gave us dining tips and train tips, and the gentleman who assisted with my laundry issue. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.”

“Be prepared to walk up steep flights of stairs. Room dated, towels all different sizes. Linen and bedding clean but dated. Bathroom sink is small, limited space for toiletries. TV is very small but we didn’t watch it so OK. Shower worked well. Breakfast was very good. Service excellent. The proprietor gave good information about what to see and how to get there ”
