“They we closed ... out of business ”

“As others have said, we had a great stay at Frederick House. We stayed in Bowers 21 for two nights. The room with a comfortable king size bed exceeded our expectations, with a private balcony great for sitting out on and enjoying the beautiful weather we had. The room was better than the photos. Friendly owners and staff offered suggestions of where to go and places to eat. We enjoyed the wineries they recommended and the restaurants they suggested. An overall pleasant stay. ”

“Spectacular stay. You walk in and are immediately greeted and ushered to your room. A lot of staff for just a small place. Nice bottle of wine in your room. Free beer and soda in the fridge. Chocolate cookies always available. Amazing happy hour (all the wine you want plus charcuterie). Super nice place, lots of places to find a private place to read a book. Gorgeous view of the winery/grapes. 7 minute walk to the winery. Great place to meet and chat with other guests. Spectacular white……

“This was a beautiful, quiet and serene setting as a stop over on our way to our son’s graduation in Lynchburg. Brenda and Kevin were very accommodating and kind. The place was so quaint and full of character! Loved our room and the bed was so comfy!”

“Welcoming host in an interesting converted building. There’s not much in the immediate area we travelled out to Staunton to eat which was also a nice town.”

“We had a very pleasant stay. Host graciously made muffins and pastries and had fresh fruit out for us. Room had refrigerator with bottled water, and flavored seltzer water, as well as an Keurig and a Nespresso. Both had a variety of pis choices. Room and bathroom was very spacious. Everything was neat and clean and smelled wonderful. W”
