“AWESOME place for a Mid-May visit. Cozy, clean, quaint, close to everything! I love a true old fashioned lodge vibe and Ponderosa Lodge had it. While our room overlooked the road, the sound of the river provided peaceful white noise to cover any traffic noise. Bonus: we saw elk right outside our balcony by the river as soon as we got to our room. I hope to be back to the area after people season wraps up and I will definitely choose Ponderosa Lodge again. ”

“Once we switched away from a room which was not set up well and was hard to move around, we were very comfortable in a room with kitchenette. “The "Deer" suite was a great option for a couple. We stayed for two nights and totally enjoyed the property as an affordable option near town with a very nice view.
