“We had the most magical weekend stay at this charming riverfront house. The view was absolutely breathtaking—watching the last rays of sunlight from the screened porch felt like pure serenity. The home itself was spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated in a simple, elegant way that instantly put us at ease. Every detail was thought through—from gleaming clean dishes to every kitchen gadget imaginable (yes, even a Kuraje coffee maker and a funky outdoor stove!).What truly made this stay……

“Nice little house if you are looking for an escape from the day-to-day bustle. Ideal if you want to hang out and read. Basic accommodations in a rural neighborhood. Not much to do in town, accept visit the lighthouse. Bay access is not far on foot if you want to launch a canoe or kayak. Our only gripe was that AC is listed as an amenity but there were no AC units. Maybe they are available in the summer, but it was hot for half of our trip (mid April) and we could have used AC. A grill is also……

“We love the Colonial Beach area! This is our third vacation in the area and this house was fantastic. Great location with short walks to awesome restaurants and close to the water. The accommodations were very comfortable and the house was spotless. Marcie (owner) was very accommodating in changing our reservations at the last minute due a major snowstorm in mid-February, but we were easily able to shift our reservation to mid-March thanks to her flexibility and assistance.
