“The lodge was perfect for us. Cosy, warm, all facilities, utensils, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, luxury toiletries, spotlessly clean and private. A peaceful haven to recharge away from city life.”

“Roy was an exceptional host, he was very informative about how to get to the property as the sat nav was a little bit unreliable. He showed us around the hut with all the facilities that were available. The hut had everything u could possible need. It was beautiful and relaxing and I cannot fault it at all. The village was about a 10 min drive which has everything u would need. The hot tub was a very nice treat in the evening, even if it did rain. Thank u so much Roy for making us feel very……

“The cottage was one of the best stays we have ever experienced. The property is very clean, in terrific condition and very rustic. I highly recommend and congratulate the owner for their hard work on this. The only thing that people should be aware of is that the country road leading to the property is quite rough so careful driving around the potholes is required. However, this should not detract from people visiting this lovely cottage. ”

“Absolutely perfect stay. Private, peaceful stay. Immaculately clean, nothing to want for. Everything was there. Surrounded by sheep, horses , stunning views. Private hot tub. We floated in the hot tub listening to the owls hooting... amazing. ”

“We were luck enough to have an earlier check in and the check in was easy and everything ready for us on our arrival. We had ordered a breakfast hamper of local produce and all was ready in the hut. The hut was bigger than it looks and plenty big enough for 2 adults and 2 small dogs. Everything you could think of was in the hut. We didn’t use the underfloor heating or the log burner as the hut was really warm without it. The hot tub was amazing and was so easy to use by ourselves. Doesn’t take……

“I rarely leave reviews but this place really does get 5 stars for everything. Beautiful location, complete privacy, and all amenities you could need. We stayed in the safari tent which was well above our expectations. Great communication from the hosts too! ”
