“Fantastic hotel in a very peaceful setting with great views of Ludlow castle and the gorgeous countryside. Had a beautiful room with views of the castle. Staff were very friendly and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast served in the dining room with beautiful countryside views. Ludlow town is within easy reach on foot, crossing over the river before climbing the hill alongside the castle. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel.”

“We were welcomed by the family. We were helped to choose from an extensive menu for our evening meals. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of fresh fruit and a variety of cereals. The main course had several tasty options including eggs Benedict and eggs royale. Coffee came with hot milk as requested. Our room was spacious with plenty of hangers and hanging space. Coffee, tea and chocolate were provided with a small kettle. ”

“We arrived at 6pm and waited 10 minutes to check in. The room we reserved was unavailable. We drove for 20 minutes on single track to arrived from Shrewsbury. The breakfast was none existent. The room was clean and tidy but the lighting was terrible. I think 6.0 rate is suitable.”

“Overall good stay Checkin is 3-6pm which I didn’t realise during booking. Had to phone and wait to get let in as it’s all locked up. Can arrange a late checkin prior which I’ll do in future. “I arrived later than should for check in due to delays but was still able to book in. The room was very clean with a lovely big comfortable double bed. There was tea and coffee in the rooms plus a television which was an added bonus. The shower room was extremely clean and the shower was lovely and hot. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone. ”

“Once we got to grips with the traffic flow on arrival and parked up everything else was on foot which made a pleasant change from what we’re used to. Our 3 night stay was spent walking and visiting pretty much every shop looking for bargains and stopping occasionally for coffee and cake . Each evening we had multiple choices for pub meals all of which were great. Our host was very helpful and we wanted for nothing and the accommodation at Rose cottage was sublime Great fun for us and our dog”
