“We stayed for 12! Days it was so good. Beautiful property in the heart of North Yorkshire - amazing selection of breakfast. Clean rooms and family-run, friendly service.
Sometimes we had to ask repeatedly for clean towels - and we don’t change them everyday. Beds were old and could use updating for comfort.
Otherwise - would highly recommend! ”
“Good location, close to centre, all day parking on the street next to The Railway, good beer, nice choice of food, well cooked, welcoming host, popular with walkers & cyclists”
“Loved our stay ...staff so friendly...food perfect...good choice for breakfast...nice room..comfy bed...nothing was to much trouble for the staff...would definatly stay again if in the area...Thankyou”
“We stayed here as a couple but also as part of a larger family group, including my niece and nephew (12 and 8 respectively).
Our room was the Illingworth room. It was huge, facing out across the road to the lovely old church. Road noise was minimal and the bed extremely comfy with good pillows which were not too soft, perfect for us. We slept well. En suite was well laid out and tastefully decorated. A few hangers were on a rail for our clothes and a hairdryer, iron and ironing board were also……
“Excellent stay, although not a cheap option. Dog friendly, with fantastic grounds, however, not enough bins.
Excellent staff throughout. Most food was excellent, disappointed though with seafood platter.”
“Beautiful character property. Views amazing Love that it’s dog friendly even in the restaurant part. Great open fire. Warm welcome Great breakfast. Dinner very tasty. ”
“We stayed last August and had a great time, sadly not now. We ungraded or so we thought, the room had poor quality furniture mismatched wall paper. A double size bed topper on a king size bed, only one bath towel between the 2 of us, no more available. Breakfast was basic, no fruit or yoghurt, second morning breakfast only one cereal available, tomato must have been the day before as no whole toms only juice, poor quality sausage over done bacon. Evening meal, first night ok, second fish & chips……
“Leeming Wells is a comfortable, well run and welcoming place to stay, relax and enjoy Brontë country. Within easy reach of the heritage railway at Oxenhope and Howarth, a range of good pubs, places to eat and visit. The pool and sauna are great for relaxing after a good walk over the moors.
A hidden gem.”
“It is comfortable, older hotel. Quirky even. Everyone very helpful, nothing a bother. Bedding and towels excellent quality. Breakfast was freshly cooked, and superb. Plenty of choices. Service excellent. Dinner was fabulous, in presentation and taste, again cooked to order. A busy evening function, but residents came first. Will definitely stay again.”
“Arrived over an hour before standard check-in and room was ready. Lovely, large room in a cottage by the river with free parking. Staff Lovely & friendly. Got back just before 11pm and was able to get more milk for a late brew. Only grumble, not enough milk left in the first place. Loved our Eggs Royale for breakfast. 11am check out is just right. Would reccomend.”
