“We stayed 2 nights but wish we’d booked longer. Although there are others houses nearby, (one across the driveway) this home was so quiet and had more privacy than most of the cabins in Gatlinburg. The back yard has the hot tub and fire pit which was like its own oasis with no door to door neighbors (very private). We chose this rental because it was about halfway between Pigeon Forge and Knoxville. We enjoyed shopping in Pigeon Forge one day and attended a Home Free concert in Knoxville on……

“This was our first experience with a floating house, we have rented houseboats on other lakes in the past. It's like a bigger, nicer houseboat and you don't have to worry about generator fuel. lol. The jumping deck and slide kept the kids entertained nicely. The covered sitting areas were a blessing in the afternoon sun or when a rain shower would blow through. We had one little hiccup with access, but the owner and manager had it rectified before I could make my second trip to get the rest of……

“Delightful patio and view. Hot water worked, bed was comfortable, sheets were clean and useable, fridge and appliances all worked,. On the negative, some of the towels were old and scratchy, the living room A/C was noisy. Although building access was good, the windows are weak points in the security of the apartment. The outside of the building is badly in need of maintenance. And, please tell renters about the very tight parking space. ”

“I gave it a 4 but it’s really a 3.5. Good location on the water. Great view. Plenty of beds (two families, total of 9 people). Dock was ok / sufficient for a weekend. Jet ski port was great. There’s not really a fire pit at the property… it’s just a circle of concrete blocks close to two buildings with very tall grass around it. The basement ceiling is very low so even a 5’5” person has to bend down to shower. The upstairs bedroom has an exhaust fan in it, with a sign that says to turn the fan……

“Nice place. Pool was very small, but was good for the little kids. Hosts were excellent on communication. Would definitely stay there again. ”
